Don’t call it a pub crawl! On this tour we leave the famous Berlin clubs behind and dedicate ourselves to an often forgotten gem of Berlin nightlife: the corner pubs! Not many of these Berlin institutions have survived the city’s intricate history. But a few of them have not only withstood the decades, but an entire century!
On this tour we will visit three of these vintage pubs, linger in their rustic atmosphere, sip fine beer and listen to the stories of these places. They survived two world wars, the division of the city, the fall of the wall and the creeping death called gentrification. Indestructible, charming and a bit chaotic, these are the real Berlin veterans.
Of course, every pub tells its own story. Over a drink (or two or three or four) we get to the bottom of these stories, embellished with entertaining anecdotes from Berlin nightlife. This tour is neither Pub Crawl nor City Walking Tour, it’s the best of both. If you want to move on afterwards, we will give you plenty of tips for going out. Cheers!
