On this tour we will discover a very unique special side of Berlins cultural scene: the bohemian Berlin nightlife of the Golden 1920s. This decade describes some of the most exciting years in Berlins history, a lot of famous historical figures like dancers, artists and femme fatales are still our heroes of that time. To follow the footsteps of these legends on this tour we will discover what Berlin was like in the 20s. We will have a first stop at one of the traditional old fashion style Cocktail bars to try the most decadent drinks. After that we we head to an original Berlin cabaret where you will see a funny, sexy, exciting and most entertaining Burlesque show – the kind you can only see in Berlin. This place with its original interior and classy Burlesque show will throw you right back into the 1920s.
During the tour you will get some background information of Berlins history, especially the Weimarer Republik, about it’s interesting personalities, artists, writers, dancers and celebrities. You will hear about how this nightlife culture shaped the underground artist and nightlife scene in Berlin today and what is so special about it. You will get lots of insider tips, some inspiration for further exploration and a vivid experience of this city’s bohemian lifestyle. On the tour two drinks and the entrance fee for the Cabaret are included in the price.
